Our fee pays for a licensed clinician's time and review, not for a guaranteed prescription. This policy explains when the fee is and is not refundable.
The flat $50 clinician-review fee, which includes the prescription plus two refills, is non-refundable once the clinician has reviewed your request, whether or not a prescription is issued. You are paying for the clinical review and decision, which has value even when the outcome is that valacyclovir is not appropriate for you.
If you submitted a request and it has not yet been reviewed, contact us and we will cancel it and refund the fee.
If you were charged in error or more than once, contact us with the details and we will correct it promptly.
The medication is filled at your own pharmacy, and those charges are paid to the pharmacy, not to us. We cannot refund pharmacy charges.
